Give Your Guests Dancing Shoes!

Now, I’m not a massive fan of all of the little extras that can overwhelm the planning of a wedding, and actually mean that you miss out on some the important aspects of your wedding. For example, favours. The majority of your guests actually aren’t that interested in your favours. It won’t make or break your wedding, yet it can take a disproportionate amount of time to make and create the favours. Around a third of them will be left on the table. It’s easy to see how you can be distracted by lots of the little details of the wedding, and then miss out on the big parts.

However, there is one aspect of the wedding where a little detail can actually make a big difference to the success of your wedding. That is a basket of flip-flops for the guests for the evening dancing. It may seem odd to have a basket of flip-flops, but I can assure you that after a long day of standing in high heels, your female guests will appreciate being able to step out of their high heels and into a pair of flip-flops so that they can dance during the evening.

In fact, it can improve the success rate of your dance floor during the evening, because it makes it more comfortable for your guests to be able to dance. Without the flip-flops, your guests may feel that they don’t want to dance in their uncomfortable high heels. A short bit of preparation in creating a basket full of cheap flip-flops, leaving them by the side of the dance floor, and creating a fun sign, such as “Dancing Shoes” can really help add an extra element to the evening.

If you’re keen to have a dance floor full of people dancing during the evening, some flip-flops can help to achieve that!
